Kimpton Surfcomber
-
This place is very fun and casual (like us, we think!). It’s right on the beach, with a nice pool and poolside restaurant/bar. And, it’s a 13 minute walk to the venue on Saturday. The rooms are pleasant and not over the top.

Block rate is $299 per night. Pro tip: You may be able to get a better rate if you are a AAA member!!
If the block is booked, just let us know and we will work with the hotel to open up additional rooms!
Uma House by Yurbban

Fun fact: We ate lunch here after we toured our wedding venue for the first time. Uma House is lovely… it’s a smaller, quieter option (more of a boutique) vs. the Surfcomber. It has a great rooftop pool and restaurant. It’s not on the beach directly, but they have a section of the beach with beach chairs that’s a short walk away.

Other Options We Like
-
While our room block rates at the Surfcomber and Uma House are pretty reasonable for Miami Beach, here are a couple other reliable options: Hilton Garden Inn South Beach and Courtyard by Marriott South Beach

We get it. Live your best luxe life! We recommend the 1 Hotel South Beach or The Betsy.
Getting to Miami
Driving & Parking
For those of you looking to hit the open road, it’s a pretty straight shot down I-95 S. Parking is a bit of a mess in Miami… but you can valet at the hotels, and there’s paid parking at the Convention Center near the Botanical Garden on Saturday. Otherwise, most street parking around here requires the app PayByPhone (pretty easy once you get it downloaded and set up).
Flying
Miami has 2 main airports - FLL and MIA. Choose whichever best fits your schedule and airline preference! Once you arrive, there are plenty of Ubers and Taxis to get you to the hotels and Miami Beach (according to Uber, it’s around 30 min and $30-40 from MIA to Miami Beach). Of course, you can always rent a car (but we think Ubers are easier throughout the weekend).
